Taking care of employee’s primary needs demonstrates that their work is important, and they are valued.
1. Ask, “Do you have the equipment and tools necessary to help you as an employee, our company and our customers?” Sometimes we think we’ve provided the necessary tools but haven’t.
2. Develop a process for handling requests for materials and equipment.
3. Put a mechanism in place to communicate when requests can’t be fulfilled.
